Little about myself and my family. My husband and I both grew up in a small town in Idaho (no, not high school sweethearts; he was far too old for that to be appropriate, just kidding, he's only three years older than me!) We have two daughters, Samantha is our oldest and our total Diva! Paisley is our youngest and a total spit fire!
When we were pregnant with Paisley we just randomly decided we were going to move to Alaska! Cordova to be exact. Cordova is a small fishing community, there are 36 miles of road (13 are paved) and no way into the town unless you're on a ferry or a plane! Miles, my husband, worked for a welding company while we lived there and I had the opportunity to stay home with my girls.
About 11 months after having Paisley we decided that it was time for us to come home, with Cordova being so remote, there wasn't access to doctors or cares that they would need in an emergency; and the minimal cares that was available wasn't enough for what I needed. I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
